Fits my L-shape frame perfectly and was super easy to set up. The customization is nice and it has proven itself sturdy!
I thought my son might not use this because it was “too gadgety”. Yeah, I just made up that word. However, it has been super useful in the dorm. Water bottle holder, phone holder, coat rack…he uses it for everything…especially since he has a raised bed.

My son has a top bunk in the dorm and appreciates this shelf so much. It gets really hot up there so he uses it to hold his fan and charge all his devices.
So the space between my bed and night stand is unusually wide so I was having to lay my glasses, cup, phone, etc on the floor or stretch waaaay over to the night stand almost rolling out of bed lol. PROBLEM SOLVED!!! This is best invention ever! I was nervous if it would fit my wide wooden ledge but it adjustable clamps fit fine!

Shelf hooks easily to my grandsons metal loft bed. It hold his phone , a book and tissues easily. Such a help with keeping things reachable from the height of the bed.

It was my fault that I didn't purchase a larger version. I like the versatility of being able to change the location of the 2 side units. Easy to assemble. Sturdy.

This was easy to mount to my bunk bed style frame. My frame is intended for a desk under it and is raised like a loft kind of deal. This gave me a night stand without requiring additional furniture.
My daughter could not have lived without her BedShelfie this past year as a freshman in the dorms! It was so easy to put together, it's solid and well-made, and really has been indispensable. It holds literally everything you'd need if you don't have a nightstand - her phone, water bottle, plus it has room on the top for her alarm clock and a hook for her headphones. It even made it easy to plug in the other things she needed right near her in the upper bunk like her reading light and a small fan since it allows you to attach a power strip to the underside. It eliminated the need for a ton of extension cords. The customer service has been amazing. I even recently got the newer revamped version for my son to take to college soon. I can't recommend this product enough - perfect solution for dorms and camp bunks and my daughter will bring it to her sorority house next year too. Great find!
This is a purchase you will NEVER regret. It has been a dream come true. Both of my children have Trundle beds and very small rooms. We use the trundle as a "dresser," so it is constantly being opened and closed. This shelf is phenomenal. It holds the huge Stanley, with a Macbook, a cell phone, and his reading book. This has been a much-needed addition, and all the attachments are absolute perfection. They thought of EVERYTHING in the design. Super easy install, great product, even better value, and after reaching out to customer service for a question, I was responded to by the founder!!! I will be a customer for life; anything this company makes, I will acquire!
I added some space to an end table with a raised lip. It was sturdy and easy to install. It looks good and comes with a few accessories.

We bought this for my sons college dorm room. He and his roommates lofted their beds and there was no place to put his alarm clock, phone, water, etc. This shelf worked out beautifully, attached to the metal base easily and is super sturdy. We zip-tied a usb/elec. extension cord to the bottom of the shelf so that he had a place to charge his laptop and phone. I would recommend that you confirm your bed type prior to ordering so that you get the right shelf attachments as there are a few different types. My sons bed has a wood head and foot board attached by a metal base. The shelf we bought attaches to the metal base.
We purchased this bedside shelf for our daughter as she headed off to college. Her bed is elevated and we needed something that would be sturdy enough to support a laptop or whatever else she needed to use it for. After three months, it is still going strong and it is the perfect size for her dorm room.
Daughter decided she wanted to loft her drom bed and this works perfect for what she needed.
it’s not in the way and it was easy to put together. i couldn’t find a bedside table i liked for my dorm and that was perfect for what i needed. the accessories it comes with are really nice too! can fit my iphone 13 pro max in the phone holder, holds my 24oz owala on the hook, a regular cup or my 40 oz owala tumbler in the cup holder.
My son just moved into an old dorm and all the beds are lofted. He says everyone is jealous of this shelf! So glad we gave it a shot!
We had to alter my daughter's bed a little by adding wood shims to make this work properly. It is a nice shelf and it feels sturdy, but you may require adjustments to make it work for you.
Work and cheap
Only downside is that the screws to hold in place have a “D” shape rather than complete circle, so it may not work with beds that have smaller rails than ours. Just barely got it to clamp but so far so good. Came with extra parts for different bed types and for securing power strip underneath if you want. For reference the large Nalgene pictured is slightly too big for the cup holder but should work for most bottles.
The shelf looks well-constructed, but it didn't fit on my son's dorm bed. Saving for another purpose.

Pay attention to the type of rail on the bed you will attach this to. Bought this for my son's dorm room bed, and not only was it difficult to attach, it just wasn't that sturdy once it was installed. It will work for his phone at night but I'd be nervous to put a water bottle in the cup holder because it's plastic and just doesn't feel like it would hold for long. I bought one that cost a little more thinking it'd be sturdy and was disappointed it the quality. Hopefully he can make it work through this year, but probably won't use it after that.
I purchased this particular bed shelf in early July because it specifically said it fits all dorm beds…. Well, fast forward to August 27 (out of the 30 day return window, ofcourse) and we move our son into his dorm, doesn’t fit his TwinXL bed. Now, what do I do with it!? Spent more for the upgrades… bummer.
READ BEFORE PURCHASING!!!I bought this for my girlfriend, and the minimum I would put is an iPad, and even then the desk would ALWAYS drop. The sturdiness was ATROCIOUS, and the consumer value is worth less than the production value. The design is terrible and needs adjusting every few hours. The adhesives for the foam to press against the frame of the bed wore out on week 1. DO NOT PURCHASE! Instead, look into a foldable and adjustable desk for a bed, so that you can place it anywhere on the bed and is more reliable than this table. I wish I could get a refund on this absolute garbage of a product but unfortunately it’s against policy. Hopefully this review deters future customers from purchasing this product due to its poor quality — feels like I got it from Temu rather than Amazon 😭. At least Temu would be cheaper!
Wow, flimsy and cheap plastic. Broke near right away. Very disappointing and now kid in college has to find a replacement. I’m no longer there and kid has no wheels so SOL. Will try Amazon for a refund. Terrible.
Don't bother.Does not attach to bed so that surface is flat.Your sheets/comforter/blanket will be in the way anyway..
Not sturdy, needed to return out of return window by 2 days. horrible customer service. Didn't work for son at college and couldn't return until after his move in day. Very cheap and not sturdy as advertised. sold by Smallish and they wont even respond.
